Our
History
Business Training Experts started
offering live seminars and custom training development.
In the early 90's, our clients started asking
for shorter bursts of training. They no longer
wanted to send people off-site to day long seminars.
Seminars were shortened to half-day sessions.
In the mid-90s, two events were taking place
causing our clients to request in-house training.
The first, travel expenses were skyrocketing.
The second, companies couldn't afford to have
an employee off-the job for a half day training
event. In 1996, we developed an in-house training
library containing hundreds of business skills
courses.
We found many of our clients overwhelmed by
this huge library of courses, very few were
using it to it's potential, and they weren't
getting value from their investment. They wanted
an easy to use curriculum that covered the core
skills a manager and supervisor would need to
lead their team.
Based on a decade of client feedback and market
research, our half-day seminars and in-house
library evolved into our current training system
-The Leadership Journey.
